Women and Gender Studies Professor Amy Farrell appears on "The Colbert Report." Interview with playwright Jonathan Yukitch, who wrote the play "Finding Don Quixote" performed by the Mermaid Players. Football wins against Gettysburg. Men's Soccer defeats Haverford, Gettysburg, and the University of Scranton. Women's Soccer secures a spot in the playoffs.

Following up on a report from the Middle States Association, the need for a library expansion and improvement is discussed. The Social Rules Evaluation Committee met to discuss possible changes in the social rules. A new literary bulletin appeared on campus. A weekly Dickinson radio show will begin, featuring members of the Dickinson chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a national honorary music fraternity. The question of whether or not to have a fraternity quadrangle will be decided at a meeting in December. The girls' hockey team beat Susquehanna in their last game of the season.

The Mermaid Players and Department of Theater and Dance present the spring mainstage production, a dark comedy premiering this weekend. Vice President for Enrollment and College Relations Robert Massa is named as a member of the American Council on Education, one of only 38 educators nationwide to receive this honor. An Evangelical Christian group from Washington, Pennsylvania comes to campus and hands out inflammatory fliers to students, who were outraged and alerted DPS.

The room draw system is updated to an online program, eliminating the horrors of the HUB housing lottery. DPS Officer Charles Weekley is dismissed from his position after supposedly lying about abandoning a pet of a faculty member. The Mermaid Players and the Dickinson Department of Theater and Dance present the fall theatrical production "Urinetown." Football defeats Franklin and Marshall and retains the prized Conestoga Wagon Trophy, a symbol of the rivalry between the two schools.

Mermaid Players to give unique outdoor production of "The Taming of the Shrew". Student Senate elects officers for 1954-1955 school year. Glee Club to preview their concert on a nationwide radio program broadcasting from Harrisburg. College Band is disbanded for the remainder of the semester, hopes to resume next year. Dickinson Young Republican Club holds meeting to discuss reorganization after being inactive for almost a year.
