As fraternity rush season takes off, Kappa Sigma fraternity considers reapplying for recognition on campus after being suspended in 2004. The TV ad-hoc committee established recently by Student Senate releases a poll of potential cable channels to be added to Dickinson's repertoire. MOB and Delta Sigma Phi fraternity hold a CD release party for a local student band. A former technician in the biology department is charged with stealing $146,000 from the school by charging personal purchases to a department credit card and submitting false receipts for reimbursement.

Review of the Baseball Season. 125th Anniversary and Commencement is held. A defense of Coach Pipal regarding the past season of sports. The importance of music in the liberal education. A new Football coach, Paul J. Davis, is rumored to be coming to campus.

Norwegian explorer Dr. Fridtjof Nansen gives a stirring lecture on Arctic survival.  Students continue to anticipate the arrival of the German "Sea Devil" Count Felix Von Luckner for a lecture on his exploits during World War I.  Selections of German music from C.R.W. Thomas' private collection will feature in Bosler Hall.

More plans for Pan-Hell Week are being made, especially for the Pan-Hell Dance. A group of students is going with Prof. Fink to the 7th Annual Debaters Conference at State College. Defense stamps will be given when Kappa Sigma hosts its annual Spring Formal rather than corsages. Student Opinion Surveys of America poll about the lack of math college students have studied. Donald Ellswoth Austin '38 is the first Dickinsonian to die in the war with the sinking of the U.S.S. Pope in the South West Pacific. Mixed ping pong tournament announced.

New York University professor, Dr. Brooke Hindle will speak on the topic of "American Culture and the Migration of the Revolutionary Era" at the upcoming Boyd Lee Spahr Lecture. Article discussing the College's decision to hold a summer academic session. Famous tenor Elwood Gary to give a musical concert. Dickinson Basketball team wins match against Juniata.

Article on the Mermaid Players production of "Night Must Fall." Student Senate approved a request for a new club for foreign students. Famous pianist, Alec Templeton to give a performance. Students Lawrence J. Lichtenstein and Moorad G. Mooradian are designated by Dr. Charles B. Kepner as delegates to the Second West Point Student Conference on United States Affairs. Union Philosophical Society debates the need for an honor code at Dickinson. The speakers for Religion-In-Life Week are all set up and so is a tentative schedule. This is an important event to most of the campus. Various musical acts from jazz bands to singers will be coming to campus.
