Dr. Gaither P. Warfield, '17, gives talks on his experiences of German concentration camps. Austin Grugan, Martin Helrich, Harold Gould, and William Rudy join Lambda Sigma Pi, science honor society. Jean Lentz is first female member of college band. Kay Price is first Dickinson drum majorette. Homecoming and Parent's Day.

Dickinson College observes Armistice Day with a program in the Chapel.  Professor Mohler prepares a demonstration of the effects of liquid air on plants and animals.  The Men's Senate requires that all students wishing to attend the upcoming football game take part in the parade to Biddle Field.  The Alumni makes their plans of holding the Homecoming football game and ceremonies in Carlisle in the following year are made known.

Dickinsonian, October 25, 1928

Professor Leon C. Prince will speak at the upcoming Homecoming pep rally at Bosler Hall before the football team's game against Gettysburg.  Dickinson alumnus Reverend Edmund Davison Soper, D.D., class of 1898, is elected president of Ohio Wesleyan University.  Pacifist Dr. Frank W. Norwood, minister of the City Temple Church in London, England, to speak at Allison Methodist Episcopal church.  The Scientific Club begins meetings at the Tome Scientific Building with talks by Professor J.D. Hardy.

Dickinsonian, November 10, 1927

The Alumni Council holds their annual banquet with Boyd Lee Spahr as keynote speaker. A statistic study of the freshman class indicates that half of the members are either Presbyterian or Methodist. The Debate Club announces the subjects for intercollegiate debate this year. The Pelletier-Shakespeare company will present a group of Shakespearean tragedies. The freshman cast for The Goose with the Golden Egg is chosen. The College hosted many enthusiastic alumni this past Homecoming weekend.

ROTC ranked 8th in nation. Response to Penn State's proposed move of the Dickinson School of Law. $1 million granted to history department for creation of faculty post specializing in the American Civil War. Concerns expressed over air conditioning policies in campus housing. Major General Robert Silverthorn '70 speaks on the impact Dickinson had on his life. Dr John Bombaro of the John Newton International Center for Christian Studies spoke at Dickinson Christian Fellowship's Skeptic's Night. The Infernos debut at Homecoming and Family Weekend.
