The Dickinson baseball team defeats Gettysburg, but loses to Lehigh. The Dickinson Players are to present Euripides’ Iphigenia in Tauris as the Commencement play. The senior class held their annual Senior Day in Holly. The class Senators were elected for the coming year. The Skitch-a-genee Society also elected its new successors. The Commencement Program is announced.

Dickinsonian, June 4, 1931

For the first time since its founding in 1886, the full quota of Phi Beta Kappa fraternity keys are to be given to graduating seniors at graduation on Monday. Senior class day exercises, including the induction of the seniors into the Alumni Association, will take place in one day. Belles Lettres decides to continue to not have rushing for new membership in their society as mentioned in an amendment to their constitution. The honorary fraternity Omicron Delta Kappa initiates seven new members.

Seven men to receive honorary degrees at commencement. Donald Masten is elected president of Union Philosophical Society. Program for Commencement Weekend (Senior Day, Alumni Day). Five rising freshmen (Kenneth Dietrich, Theodore Sky, John Matta, Joanne Judd, Barbara Boffenmeyer) receive Trustee Scholarship. Men's tennis finishes season 6-2. Men's basketball finishes season 1-18. Baseball finishes season 7-3. Track and field finishes season 4-4. Men's lacrosse finishes its first season 2-4.

Dickinsonian, June 10, 1955

Sixteen Dickinson seniors will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army Reserves. Eight honorary diplomas will be awarded at graduation, three of whom are Dickinson graduates from previous years. The Cultural Affairs Committee sites a successful year with many speakers and showcases coming to campus over the past months. The 182nd Commencement will be held on Benjamin Rush Campus in two days with a full day of activities planned for both that day and Senior Day, which is today.
