College observes Charles Nisbet day.  The faculty allows students in good standing to spend three months in a reserve officers' training camp or working on a farm without academic repercussions.  Female students hold annual May Day party.  Female students enroll in First Aid classes to support the war effort.

Class of 1900 plans to erect a new gate to the campus at the corner of High and West streets.  Phi Delta Theta plans to raise funds for an ambulance to service the battlefields of France.

Tau Kappa Alpha initiates new members.  F. T. Woodward '01 submits a letter to the editor in favor of patriotism and US entry in WWI.  Band of Dickinson student voulnteers tours region encouraging support of mission work in Asia.

Military training begins at Dickinson, and seniors opt to take courses preparing them for military commision examinations.  Woman's issue has fashion page and literary page focused on Metzger.  Gaither P. Warfield encourages conscientious objectors to stand firm.  GPAs of fraternities. 

Musical clubs make annual spring tour.  Students sign petition requesting a drillmaster to ready the student body for military service.  Class Day is planned.  The Educational Jubilee Organization of the Methodist Episcopal Church convinces conferences to increase Dickinson's endowment.  Microcosm officers are elected.  Dickinsonian board is selected.  YWCA elects officers.
