Freshman-Sophomore game

Freshman-sophomore football game ends in tie. Change made to method of selection of Dickinsonian editors. Union Philosophical Society elects officers. Confusion follows merging of men’s and women’s student senates. Women’s Student Senate creates a Pay Day on which all membership fees are due. YWCA creates employment bureau to find paid employment for its members. Q. E. D. initiates new member.

Term is speeded up so as to close the college early and release students to war effort.  Interfraternity council to hold dance.  Sophomores win annual button game against freshmen.  A local branch of the Intercollegiate Prohibition Association forms.

Freshmen win annual button game.  Phi Delta Theta holds annual dance.  Skull and Key holds annual dance.  Student Senate elects official Cheer Leader.  Juniors win inter-class basketball championship.  YWCA performs "An Old Fashioned Singing School". 

The football team closes its season with a 14-10 victory over Bucknell during the Thanksgiving day game. The freshman-sophomore football game is announced. The opening of fraternity rush is announced. Dr. Richard Burton gives a lecture entitled "Mark Twain as a Neighbor" in which he discusses his personal acquaintanceship with the author. And editorial praising cooperation between Dickinsonians and the people of Carlisle appears. The debate team elects a president and secretary and chooses 12 semifinalists for membership.
