An unidentified man breaks into the room of a female freshman in Metzger Hall. He smothers her screams with his hand and tries to remove her bedclothes before being frightened away by her second scream, which is not smothered. The Dramatic Club changes their December sixth production to "YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU." Dr. Wellington A. Parlin of the physics department invents an apparatus to be used in laboratories and appeals the Chicago Science Apparatus Company to put it in its catalog.

News report on a soldier from the Army Barracks, John Thomas Davies entered a Dickinson dormitory at night. $1000 donation given to the College by T.F. Miller. Possibility of a new gym being built materializes when a model is created and put on display in the library. The library adds 500 books to its collection in four months time.

The Faculty are set to vote on calendar revisions, which many students oppose. W.H. Auden is slated to receive the Dickinson College Arts Award during a March 5th celebration. Some women helped police catch an intruder into Sellers Hall. The Mermaid Players production of "The Rivals" introduced novel set design. WIC introduced the "Non-Honor Code" to institute rules for all women not involved in the Honor Code. Dickinson is set to buy an original Pablo Picasso print. Prof. George Allan will deliver a sermon at the College Chapel.
