Kappa Sigma hosts a farewell reception; the annual Commencement Concert is set to be performed by the Combined Musical Clubs; Conway Hall Commencement exercises take place.  The Track team captain posts an open letter admitting an unsuccessful season, providing excuses, and promising better in seasons to come.  Dickinson plans for its first official Alumni Day.

Dickinsonian, May 15, 1907

Kappa Sigma holds a smoker for members of the Inter-Collegiate Debate Team.  The Comus Club puts on its Spring dance, furnished by the Germania Orchestra.  The Track meet with Swarthmore is cancelled due to last week's "fiasco" against State.  Instead, a trial meet is held among Dickinsonians to determine who will travel to Bucknell for the coming week's competition.

A "fiasco" of a Track and Field dual meet occurs, with State defeating Dickinson 92-12, resulting in an open letter to the student body calling for a Track coach.  An editorial, furthermore, shames Dickinson for its performance and calls for training reform.  An student writer makes a "plea for traditions," arguing that it is time Dickinson offered technical courses in her curriculum.

Dickinson celebrates William Penn Memorial Day.  State defeats Dickinson in baseball but Dickinson defeats State in debate, in the process becoming champions of the Pennsylvania Debate League.  The Carlisle Oratorio Society renders a performance under the direction of Frederic C. Martin.

Dickinsonian, April 24, 1907

Members of the Philadelphia Alumni Association attend a dinner in Essington, Pa.  The college proposes to observe William Penn Memorial day on April 25, 225 years to the day after the granting of "the frame of government to Pennsylvania."  Dickinson is visited by Edward A. Nisbet, a lineal descendant of the college's first president, Dr. Charles Nisbet.

The Comus Club holds its Easter German dance.  The Dickinson-State debate is set to decide the champion of the Intercollegiate Debating League of Pennsylvania.  The Kneisel Quartete of Boston is chosen to give the final entertainment of the Civic Club Course.

The annual Easter trip of the Musical Clubs is a great success, with praise from such newspapers as The Altoona Gazette, The Johnstown Democrat, and The Philipsburg Journal.  The Sigma Chi fraternity holds a dance.  Prof. Leon Prince's new book, A Bird's-Eye View of American History is well-received by critics. William Penn Memorial Day approaches.

The Union Philosophical Society emerges victorious against the Belles Lettres Society in the Annual Inter-Society Debate.  The Combined Musical Clubs deliver an excellent program at Shippensburg, with Director John Craig King producing an exceptional Mandolin Club.  Phi Delta Theta celebrates a fraternal Alumni Day with a banquet.
