This issue features an article on an increase of cocaine use in the United States. "The Dickinsonian" had released a survey on cocaine in the previous edition and received minimal results back, stating that out of the responses all except two had at least tried cocaine once. Female enrollment at colleges nationwide increases, and can be seen at Dickinson with 308 freshmen women enrolled compared to 240 men. Sorority rushees have also increased, causing discussion for the creation of a fourth sorority. Student Senate candidates are featured in an article.

The Back Alley Quintet is set to perform on Valentine Weekend in the Social Hall. Nine candidates for the various Student Senate positions unveiled their campaigns in the last week. The IFC held a series of lectures on fraternity life. Dean Gillespie announced that students over the age of 21 could now live in off-campus housing, under certain stipulations. The Rococo Company "Baroque" group is set to perform this weekend. A "moderate epidemic" of German measles arrived on campus, affecting twenty students, according to a nurses report.

An open forum on Vietnam will be held featuring a panel of students and faculty debating the conflict. Students ratified the proposed Social Rules and procedures for the creation of a student Enforcement Code are outlined. Technical aspects of the Mermaid Players "Wild Duck" production are discussed. A new position of school guard is established and appointed due to recent attacks on students. The first 16 students to participate in Dickinson's Bologna Center for International Study program report positively on their experiences.
