The Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior Classes choose their class officers. The board of the Microcosm is announced. This year’s freshman class in the largest to date. Dickinson wins in the Inter-collegiate Oratorical contest at Mt. Gretna. Y. M. C. A. reception occurs.

Dickinsonian, May 15, 1926

Belles Lettres is victorious in the Annual Founder's Day contest. Student Senate elections are postponed to address the issues that the Senate's current composition of nine fraternity men to five Commons' Club men will remain. Robert H. Duffy will be assisting Coach Johnson with the football team this coming season. Prof. Prince continues his campaign for a seat in Congress.

Dickinsonian, November 21, 1925

A poll on the World Court is taken by the YMCA and YWCA, while Prof. Leon Prince spoke against US involvement in the World Court in chapel. The Inter-Fraternity Council adopts new by-laws; new laws on rushing, bidding, and preferential bidding for pledges; new policies for violations and penalties; and a required grade average to pledge. Photography begins for the 1927 Microcosm. The football team takes a 34 to 0 victory over the Pennsylvania Military College.

This week's Dickinsonian reports that the Medley Relay Team takes third place at the annual intercollegiate Philadelphia meet. Martha Sloan, President of the Women's Student Senate of Wilson College, will discuss "Practical Problems of Student Government" at a meeting of the Women's Student Government Association. The Dickinsonian announces a contest to establish the most popular woman, from the male standpoint, at the college. A brief history of the establishment of the Dickinsonian is published. Prof. J. Ogden Franklin speaks to the college Y.M.C.A.

The Autobiography of 15th president James Buchanan tells of early days at Dickinson College. The Debating season opens with a triangular meet with Haverford and Ursinus. Prof. Quimby speaks on Sex and the Bible. Dickinson attends the annual National Student Federation of America conference. Prof. Leon C. Prince announces his candidacy for Pennsylvania State Senator. Over the Christmas break, a janitor stops a small fire in Conway Hall.

The theme for the first annual student conference of Eastern Pennsylvania Y.M.C.A. and Y.W.C.A. is "Jesus: What is His part in my life?". The Dramatic Club will present two one-act plays--The Goose With the Golden Egg, with an all-freshman cast, and Mr. X, featuring an all-sophomore cast. The Y.W.C.A. and Women's Senate will host the annual Doll Show. The Chemistry department praises the collections held in the Scientific Museum in Tome. Impressionist William S. Battis will portray classic Dickens characters. The basketball season will open with a match against Princeton.

Impersonator William Sterling Battis will entertain the student body at chapel with impersonations of famous literary characters. Seniors Victor Baiz and Christopher Crook are named to the All-State Eleven picked by Stoney McLinn, Philadelphia Public Ledger sports writer. The football team loses their final game. A report lists the most common occupations of the parents of Dickinsonians. The first annual Y.M.C.A. and Y.W.C.A. Conference of Eastern Pennsylvania will convene at Dickinson this week.

Plans begin for Dickinson to host 32 colleges at the Eastern Pennsylvania Y.M.C.A. conference. The Women's Student Government gives a report on the convention members attended. Despite a new starting line-up, the football team takes a loss to Muhlenberg. Dickinson-in-China begins its annual drive for funds, with a goal of $1500. The Debating Team will open the season with a match against Juniata. Dickinson will send representatives to the Interfraternity Conference in New York City.
