"Minna Von Barnheim" play is a great success. Comus Club holds its midwinter dance. Day of Prayer is observed. Freshmen hold banquet. Passed Dickinsonians compiled, some found to be missing. Speaker Elbert Hubbard is entertained by Alpha Chi Rho after delivering an excellent lecture o the College. Phi Kappa Psi holds a dance in the Armory. Sophomores and Freshman have a scrap, which ends in a tie.
Each member of the football team is described. J. Frank Puderbaugh, '16, is elected football captain. A scrap ensues when freshmen attempt to take a class picture. Elias B. Baker resigns as Student Senate president.
Freshman class is largest to date with 110 students; list of new students and hometowns. Sophomores win flag scrap. YMCA and YWCA hold annual reception for freshmen. John Cleland becomes temporary professor of economics and sociology.
Football team refuses to play against Carlisle Indian School because the latter will not agree to shortened halves. Dickinson's relay team wins the Middle Atlantic States Championship Relay held at Penn State, breaking the record time by two seconds. A group of men to discuss important issues, including the essential values of life among other things, is set to meet. The first Microcosm yearbook leaving out the section dedicated to the Law School, featuring only the college and its students. Plans for commencement are detailed.
The entirety of the Student Senate with the exception of the Senate President resigns and forms a committee for student government reform after new regulations were put into place by the college administration, claiming that the administration's actions inhibited their ability to function as a self-governing body. A point system is instituted for the Freshman-Sophomore scraps. Several concerts are announced for upcoming meetings of chapel. Members of the YMCA provide inmates at the Cumberland County jail with magazines, boxing gloves, and other items for entertainment.
Fraternities hold initiation. The Junior class holds their annual dance for the first time in three years, and invitation is extended to all classes. The Women’s Glee Club prepares for three future performances. Arthur D. Kahler, from Brown University, is selected to be the new football coach. The Dramatic Club holds tryouts for its new plays. The Tribunal committee of the Men’s Senate will sponsor the annual Freshman-Sophomore scrap. The Debate Team wins against Muhlenberg. The Greek Club presents a program on Drama. The Library displays a collection of Persian art.
