The football team wins against Allegheny by the wide margin of 21-0. The freshmen football team wins against the Carlisle Y.M.C.A team. A tea is held in honor of the president’s wife, Mrs. Frances Corson. The Archaeological Institute of America claims that the college is in possession of a very valuable stone sarcophagus. A search concluded that such a gift was indeed presented to the college, but it had been removed some time ago. The number of freshmen pledged to fraternities totals twenty-one. The Senate names a new chairman of the Senate Tribunal Committee.

Alpha Chi Rho resigns from the Interfraternity Council. The upperclassmen have some fun punishing the freshmen for breaking the freshmen rules. The Men’s Senate will form a permanent organization of unaffiliated students in order for them to form a more unified group. The soccer team loses to Bucknell. Alumni are urged to attend the Homecoming celebrations and the Diamond Jubilee of Sigma Chi at Dickinson. An article questions whether the Men’s Senate should be allowed to make decisions for the entire campus, as well as for the women of the college.

The football team loses to Albright. The Sophomore Vigilance Committee, with a new chairman, will be in charge of enforcing the freshmen rules. The schedule for the Homecoming program is announced. The Dramatic Club announces that its first production of the year will be Death Takes a Holiday. At the end of the rushing season, the fraternities pledge a total of seventy-six men. The Board of Trustees chooses Reverend Dr. Fred Pierce Corson to be the college’s twentieth president. The freshmen beat the sophomores in the Evening Scrap. In addition to choosing a new president, the Board of Trustees also created an alumni fund and a new scheme of athletic control. Senate Committees are appointed to govern sports, religion, and aspects of social life at the college. New system and rules for fraternity rushing described. The Dickinson Players presented the annual Commencement Play, performing "Are You a Mason?" Opening of the new Beta Theta Pi fraternity house. Miss Edna E. White presented to the College a large Galilean reflecting telescope. S. Marsh Johnson resigns from his post as the Varsity Coach, and Robert H. Duffy is elected to replace him. The Omicron Delta Kappa national honorary fraternity is officially installed at Dickinson College. Only three track men will go to the Middle Atlantic Championships at Schenectady on Saturday as a result of the Athletic Association's refusal to appropriate the funds necessary to take more. Dickinsonian, May 12, 1927

An article outlines Professor Norcross's reasoning surrounding the rise in student suicides. Professor Leon C. Prince has eleven speeches to give in various states between mid-May and Commencement, including nine Commencement addresses. The Dickinson Tennis team opened the season successfully when it returned victorious in matches against Washington and Jefferson, Grove City, and the University of Pittsburgh. Work on the new gymnasium starts on the grounds of Old South College. President Morgan's wife dies unexpectedly of a heart attack and is buried in Carlisle. Omicron Delta Kappa, a national honorary fraternity, has granted a charter to Dickinson College. Raymond R. Brewer, Dickinson's representative at West China Union University, is on a leave of absence and expected to visit the College campus very soon.
