Alumni plan publication of "The Dickinson Alumnus", a new alumni paper to be published monthly. Three women from the College as well as two other Carlisle residents suffer injuries after assault by "acid throwers". Dramatic Club plans season. Professor Norcross elected head of Pennsylvania Kiwanis. Sigma Alpha Epsilon buys Sadler Mansion, to be used as new chapter quarters. Negotiations pending for purchase of a new athletic field house near Biddle Field. Renovated space in West College to be used by college organizations.

Dickinsonian, May 25, 1933

Juniors will be allowed to take classes at the Law School. Letters given out to 11 men, including 9 Freshmen. President Waugh puts forth a plan to delay rushing before the Interfraternity Council. Article on Dickinson in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Club members abolish the International Relations Club. Article on the Commuter's Room and the ways in which this privilege has been abused. Lawn party to be held at Metzger Hall. Dean Meredith won prize. Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall tie in annual track meet.

Dickinsonian, November 17, 1932

Men's Senate talks about ways to improve school spirit at sporting events. The new literary magazine finally gets name, "Hornbook." Former exchange student from Germany writes letter about hitch-hiking experience. The Alumni Council meets again to discussion moving John Dickinson's body closer to the school. Dickinson lost Homecoming football game. Women's Glee Club performed at the buffet supper hosted by the Women's Student Government Association. Men's soccer coach complains about lack of support for the successful team this season.

Dickinsonian, May 12, 1927

An article outlines Professor Norcross's reasoning surrounding the rise in student suicides. Professor Leon C. Prince has eleven speeches to give in various states between mid-May and Commencement, including nine Commencement addresses. The Dickinson Tennis team opened the season successfully when it returned victorious in matches against Washington and Jefferson, Grove City, and the University of Pittsburgh. The principle speakers at the annual Dickinsonian Banquet included M.H.

At opening of the 169th academic year, students hear about the role of education in the nation's defense. Fraternity bids will be announced Tuesday. $10,333.04 was raised with the 6th Annual Dickinson College Alumni Fund Campaign. Dr. Doney and Dr. Norcross passed away over the summer. Dickinson has gotten 5 new faculty members due to deaths and absences created by national security measures. Thirty-two varsity lettermen from Dickinson are now serving in the US armed forces.
