The College Dramatic Club plans a production of Shakespeare's "Mid Summer's Night's Dream".  Manager Allen Thompson announces that the Combined Musical Clubs will give their second concert at Shippensburg.  Beta Theta Pi holds a convention in Harrisburg.

President George Reed encourages Methodists to donate money to existing Methodist colleges instead of starting new colleges. Pi Beta Phi enters Dickinson. Reports come in from Heib '95 and Pemberton '03 about their mission work in Ceylon & India. Request from the editors for alumni to submit any old copies of the Dickinsonian they may have so that "a complete file of these volumes may be bound and preserved for reference in the future." William A. DeGroot '97 elected as a member of the General Assembly of New York.

Dickenson looses against Bucknell and Penn State in the annual triangular debate. The 14th annual banquet of the Dickinson Alumni Association is held in Harrisburg. Coach McAndrews issues the first call for baseball hopefulls. The Dickinson basketball team takes a 33-25 victory over Gettysburg. The Drama Club will present "The Whole Town's Talking" on March 16th. The first annual Miami Triad Dance was held by Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Theta, and Beta Theta Pi fraternities. Motion pictures on the process of film-making were shown by the Mohler Scientific club.

The track team wins the Central Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Conference meet at Island Park in Harrisburg. The men's senate announces that the budget for student activities will be increased by $500 for the following year. An itinerary for commencement appears. The Dickinsonian is readmitted to the Intercollegiate Newspaper Association after an absence of two years. Four members of the senior class are graduated with highest honors, seven others are graduated with secondary honors. The non-fraternity women of the college found their own social association, known as the D.A.

The Board of Trustees met and discussed modernizing the campus, the endowment, and alumni contributions. A speakers' bureaus will be formed to allow students to practice public speaking outside of debating. Plans for the Miami Triad formal dance, hosted by Beta Theta Pi, Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Chi, are almost complete. Speech on "Patriotism versus Nationalism" will occur at the next meeting of the Young People's Fellowship. Belles Lettres Society to gain new officers.

Several Dickinson men plan to go abroad this summer to western Europe and norther Africa. The Beta Psi fraternity and the Commons Club merge and now will collectively be called the Commons Club Incorporated. Edward Biddle, president of the Board of Trustees creates a committee of trustees that will consider men for the office of president of the college. The Microcosm is sent to the printers and will be ready for distribution for the price of $4.50.

Dickinsonian, June 4, 1927

New system and rules for fraternity rushing described. The Dickinson Players presented the annual Commencement Play, performing "Are You a Mason?" Opening of the new Beta Theta Pi fraternity house. Miss Edna E. White presented to the College a large Galilean reflecting telescope. S. Marsh Johnson resigns from his post as the Varsity Coach, and Robert H. Duffy is elected to replace him. The Carnegie Corporation of New York has awarded an art collection to the College of "considerable value." An article outlines the events of Alumni Day.

In the last Dickinsonian of the academic year, eighty-five seniors graduate with eight elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  The Belles Lettres Exhibit of Historic Dickinson and other exhibits are reopened in Bosler Hall for returning alumni. Furthermore, under the direction of librarian May Morris, over 700 books were added to the library and more than 2400 volumes relocated from the inaccessible old sections to the new through the previous year.  Dickinson is called upon to finish its new gymnasium.
