Various works, including Life of Bishop Hurst, are added to the library's collection.  A college-wide holiday is granted for the dedication of the state capitol in Harrisburg.  Walter Damrosch to lead the new York Symphony Orchestra in a concert in the Carlisle Opera House.  The procedures of the Intercollegiate Debating League of Pennsylvania are set forth.  The annual reception for the Freshmen is held, with the usual accompanying antics of the Sophomores.  The YMCA handbooks are distributed in chapel.  The Freshman caps (black with green buttons) arrive.

Harvard man Fritz S. Darrow, Ph. D. joins the college faculty.  Dickinsonians await a performance by the 50-piece New York Symphony Orchestra.  The annual Y.M.C.A. reception is held for new members in Conway Hall.

The 124th year of Dickinson's history is entered upon, welcoming large classes into all of its departments.  The Athletic Association holds team manager and vice presidential elections.  Professor Leon C. Prince publishes A Bird's Eye View of American History, a new U.S. history book.  In its second year of being, Dickinson College's Pan Hellenic Association adopts rules regarding Greek life recruitment.  The YMCA holds its annual reception in Chapel Hall.

The Microcosm will be a week late. A lecture by Dr. Prettyman was given to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fredrich Schiller's death. The benches in Denny are to be kept free of defacement. Sigma Chi gains a new house.

The Mandolin and Glee Clubs perform at Irving College.  The first recitations are held in Denny Hall.  The seniors take their class trip to Doubling Gap. The Easter Dance was held and students from the surrounding colleges attended.

Dickinson observed the 16th year of Dr. Reed's presidency. The bell atop Old West is taken down and placed in the bell tower of Denny Hall.  Upon doing so it was found to be cracked.  Dickinson College hosts the annual convention of the Intercollegiate Prohibition Association of Pennsylvania
