The YMCA holds its annual reception to welcome the new students. A list of the new students is published. Professor Dare to take leave due to health issues and be replaced by Michael J. Cramer. Dr. Stauffer to take charge of the Physical Culture department. The Sophomores and Freshmen elect their class officers.

Mrs. Mary O'Hara Spring and Miss Matilda W. Denny of Pittsburgh donate two properties on Main Street to the college; President Reed hopes to build a recitation hall on the O'Hara Spring property, which becomes Denny Hall. The Denny property is sold to fund the construction. A floor is added to the gymnasium above the bowling alley for the purpose of indoor baseball practice, boxing, wrestling, and fencing. YMCA observes day of prayer.
Dickinson football defeats Pennsylvania College and is defeated by Haverford College and State College. YMCA holds week of prayer. President and Mrs. Reed hold annual reception. Glee Club does not reform. Some students are criticized for defacing walls around campus.
